Welcome to ACUP 2010

April 11 - 15, 2010
The forty-fifth conference of the Association of College and University Printers will be held April 11th thru the 15th 2010 at the Doubletree Hotel Charlotte Airport in Charlotte, NC. Founded in 1964, ACUP has grown into an international association with members representing hundreds of universities and colleges throughout the United States, Great Britain, Canada, New Zealand and Australia. This year's conference will be hosted by Central Piedmont Community College, University of North Carolina Wilmington, Duke University, and Johnson C. Smith University.
ACUP 2010 is Your Best Conference Deal
If money is tight for you right now - and let's face it, money is tight everywhere right now - the cost of ACUP 2010 should be just the ticket. At $375 + hotel costs of $99 nightly, you won't find a quality conference experience for less. When you consider that ACUP is the only national conference exclusively for higher education print operations, you've got a value that can't be beat. Note that the $375 applies to registrations submitted by March 12 only - after that date registration goes to $425.
ACUP at 160 MPH
Let's not mince words. The internet, email, and files transfered by electronic media rather than hardcopy are only some of the reasons that the demand for printed materials has been reduced. Combine that with tough economic times, and you can see your work will continue to be challenging.
However, there is still a great need for printing, and those in-plants who are fast enough to react to changing times and needs are the ones who will finish first. And what better place to pick up the methods of speed than Charlotte, the home of the sport associated with speed, NASCAR racing?
The Fastest Driver Still Needs a Solid Pit Crew
Turning a job in less than 24 hours is just as important as changing a tire in less than 6 seconds.ACUP 2010 is where you will learn the things that provide the solid foundation so your in-plant won't falter down the stretch.
Rookie Driver?
We want to extend an especially warm greeting to our first timers. You will be learning and laughing with people who do what you do - some of whom may become your very good friends.
