Pirate Promise: East Carolina University Transfer Program
As a Pirate Promise student, you will be guaranteed admission to East Carolina University to pursue a bachelor’s degree after you complete an eligible associate degree at Central Piedmont.

Requirements
To be considered for the Pirate Progress Program, you must:
- be enrolled in an approved transfer program in first year of coursework (click here for list of approved associate degrees)
- have 12 hours of credit (high school dual enrollment students exempt)
- have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 and maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.0 to remain in the program
The Pirate Promise program does not guarantee admission to a specific major or program.
