The ACA, English, and Humanities Division is committed to providing instructional excellence in composition, creative writing, literature, the humanities, philosophy and DRE (Developmental Reading and English). CPCC's Arts: Visual, Performing and Interior Design Division offers an Associates Degree of Fine Arts with concentrations in Dance, Music, Drama, and Visual Arts. The Interior Design programs offer an Associates Degree of Applied Science. The division offers many general education courses. Our Construction Technologies Division includes a variety of programs designed to produce graduates who are prepared to enter today’s construction workforce. Whether you’re interested in pursuing a career in construction; masonry; heating, air conditioning and refrigeration; or electrical/electronics technology, we have a program for you that incorporates the latest techniques and theories of green building and renewable technologies.
The Digital Media, Journalism and Communication Division offers students opportunities to learn about journalism, communication, simulation and gaming and digital film including videography. Our curriculum will equip you with the knowledge and skills you need to be successful in the media arts in a modern world.
The Early Childhood Education Division is committed to providing instructional excellence in preparing individuals to work with children from infancy through middle childhood in diverse learning environments. Students combine theories with practice in actual settings with young children under the supervision of qualified teachers. Graduates are prepared to plan and implement developmentally appropriate programs in early childhood settings. Employment opportunities include child development and child care programs, preschools, public and private schools, Head Start programs and school-age programs.
Our Engineering Technologies Division will give you an opportunity to prepare for a position that will help society in a meaningful way. As a result, our engineering technology graduates have some of the most interesting, challenging and highest paying jobs in the region.
Our Foreign Language Division is dedicated to helping you gain proficiency in German, French, Spanish and Academic ESL to explore and improve your career goals in areas such as business, education, government, industry, the military, nursing and social work. The Health Sciences Division provides an avenue to pursue a variety of exciting healthcare career options.
