Did you withdraw from a course and receive a WE grade in spring 2020 for reasons related to the COVID-19 pandemic? For a limited time and if you are eligible, Central Piedmont may be able to cover the costs for you to retake the spring course you withdrew from, or you may choose a different course within your current program.
If you are eligible for this funding, the college has already sent an offer form to your Central Piedmont email account. You need to accept the offer form by the deadline in the email. The college may consider your acceptance if you submit it after the deadline if funding is still available.
How You Can Use the Funds
Here’s how you can apply this funding for an eligible course you withdrew from in spring 2020:
- If you retook the course in summer or fall 2020, you can still have this funding applied for that semester. The college will reimburse you, if applicable.
- You can enroll in the course in spring 2021 and have the funding applied to this semester.
The college would only pay tuition and fees for you to repeat the same course(s) from which you withdrew, or a different course within your current program. We will apply the funding directly to your student account to cover the cost of your course. Contact tuition and payment if you have any questions.
