Fast Track to an Automotive Career
New Auto Body Certificates Prepare Students for New Careers

“12 in 6” Workforce Training
CPCC has adopted the state’s “12 in 6” workforce training initiative. The program strives to connect displaced workers seeking a career change to 12 different high-demand college programs that can be completed in as little as six months.

CPCC’s Automotive Systems program has been identified as one of those 12 programs. Boasting two new Auto Body Certificates - Auto Body Paint and Refinishing Certificate and Auto Body Repair Certificate–the College’s Automotive Systems Program is prepared to equip students for a new career in this burgeoning field and an entry-level position in the auto body industry.

Funding for the JobsNOW 12-in-6 initiative is supported by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), the Department of Commerce, Division of Workforce Development and the local Charlotte-Mecklenburg Workforce Development Board.
