Career and College Promise

If you’re a CMS student age 16 or older, College Experience at CPCC provides you the chance to take selected college courses that typically earn you high school and college credit at the same time, at no cost to you.

It’s easy to apply!
Just contact your Career Development Counselor in the Guidance Office for an application. The following Transport Systems Technologies courses have been approved by CMS. All courses are not offered each semester. Check the CPCC schedule for specific semester offerings.

Automotive Systems Technology

Autobody Repair Technology

  • Painting & Refinishing I – AUB111-60

Heavy Equipment and Transport Technology (H.E.A.T.T.)

  • Med Heavy Duty Brakes - HET231-60

Concurrent Enrollment
The Concurrent Enrollment Program at CPCC offers students, 16 years old or older, who live in North Carolina, who are currently enrolled in a North Carolina high school and who are in good standing and making satisfactory progress toward graduation, an opportunity to earn college credit at CPCC.
