Placement Testing Steps

1.  Before you take any of the placement tests, you should take the practice tests and see how you do.  Although doing well on the practice tests does not guarantee success on the actual placement tests, it can help give an indication of areas you may want to review before taking the actual tests.

2.  Review, review, review!!!  After taking the practice tests, use the online CPCC ACCUPLACER review videos to brush up on your arithmetic, elementary algebra, reading comprehension, and sentence skills.  The review materials are free, so use them!!!

3.  If you've already taken ACCUPLACER at CPCC and want to retest, you'll want to review our Retest Policy very carefully.

4.  When you're ready to take the ACCUPLACER tests, a list of testing locations and hours are listed here:  Central Campus All other campus locations

5.  Remember to do your BEST!!!  WE WANT YOU TO BE SUCCESSFUL!!!
