The Teaching Commons

 What is the Teaching & Innovations Commons?

Located on the 4th floor of the Central Campus Learning Resource Center in room 405,  the Teaching & Innovations Commons provides a place in which communities of educators, regardless of discipline, can come together to exchange ideas, share content, develop methodologies, and stimulate technology innovation to meet the challenges of educating students for personal, professional, and civic life. The goal is to provide faculty with new spaces and services that promote and support:
  • Collaboration, sharing, and collegiality
  • Intra- and inter-disciplinary efforts
  • Innovation – pedagogical and technological
  • Showcasing of practices and methodologies
  • Individual development and success

What is Available in the Teaching & Innovations Commons?

Support

  • Depending on the need, IT Services, Library Services and/or Instructional Development/eLearning staff can be available to you in the Central Campus Teaching & Innovations Commons.

Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 8:00 pm
