How to Apply

Ready to make the move from interested student to international traveler?

Follow these five easy steps:

  1. Research – Learn what programs are available, and see what dates, prices, and course credits will fit with your schedule and academic need.
  2. Apply – Decide which program is best for you, then complete the Study Abroad Application online and email your essay to Make sure you complete any additional application steps under "how to apply" on your program's page. GLO will complete a check on all applicants to review records of conduct, academic infractions or financial obligations to the college.
  3. Pay Deposit – Complete the Cashier Payment Form and pay the $100 application deposit and (if applicable) your insurance fee. Follow the 2019 Program Payment Schedule and continue making payments toward your program. Use the Cashier Payment Form for each payment.
  4. Passport – Submit a copy of your passport to the Global Learning Office. If you don’t already have a passport, the GLO can assist you with applying for one. This process can take a while, so the earlier you start the better.
  5. Meet Staff – Meet in person with your program faculty leader or a GLO staff member to review program requirements.

Get accepted! – Within 30 days of submitting your application, you will receive an official acceptance into the program via email.

Important dates:

  • November 30th – Deadline to apply for Spring Break Study Abroad
  • December 15th – Deadline to apply for the Global Learning Office scholarship
  • January 31st – Deadline to apply for Summer Study Abroad

Within 30 days of your acceptance, a payment is due. See payment schedule on your program page.
