Please note: If you are going to take a “regular” class (111-212 plus lab), and are planning to continue with German at CPCC after your return, please be prepared to meet with the program chair for a placement test before signing up for the following semester. While you will be learning alot  through being immersed in the language and culture in Germany, what you will be covering there might not be 100% identical with what you would have studied here, so the instructor will basically need to make determine where you need to be placed and – if applicable - help you cover any grammar items which you might not have studied in Germany.
