Our immersion program in Canada offers a superb opportunity to learn or improve your French and enjoy a life changing experience in another culture. Montréal is an exciting bilingual city on the St. Lawrence river.
The University of Quebec, Montréal, UQÀM, offers an excellent immersion program of 4 hours of French instruction per day during the week by experienced and delightful instructors (whose French is from France). Your afternoons include a variety of visits and guided excursions. A placement test will put you in the right class for you. This course also includes guidance and meetings with your CPCC instructor. For the three week stay you can receive up to 7 credits.

Prerequisites: No French proficiency is required, though applicants will be tested to ensure they are placed in appropriate courses. It is preferred if students have taken or are taking a French course.
