Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange for Young Professionals The CBYX for Young Professionals is a fellowship that provides two months of intensive German language, four months of study in the participant's career field at a German college or university, and a five month internship with a German company. CPCC both hosts visiting German students and supports applications by American students looking to go abroad for this career development program. World Affairs Council of Charlotte WACC is a non-profit, non-partisan organization. It is supported by private funding from individual and corporate members. It is a regional center for education and discussion of world affairs. The Council seeks to provide leadership for global thinking, and a broad perspective for effective competition in the global economy and for responsible citizenship in an increasingly interdependent political world. CPCC works closely with WACC on the Global Issues Forum and other Charlotte area events.

World View (UNC Chapel Hill) World View is a public service of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Our web site is intended to provide educators with information about our programs, outreach, and resources focused on 21st Century global education. Annually, CPCC sends a team of four faculty members to each World View’s community college forums. 2012/2013 Forums

World Parade & Festival This event seeks to educate our communities regarding the many cultures in the world, highlighting the similarities and differences in our music, food, dances and everyday values. Free to the public, this festival provides many opportunities to volunteer, explore and learn. CPCC partnered with this organization to help put on the inaugural festival in 2012. Photo Gallery

Charlotte International Cabinet CIC promotes Charlotte as an international city and serves as a resource to foster international relationships, highlighting Charlotte's eight sister city partnerships. It works as a consultant to elected officials and city staff on local activities of international scope. CPCC partners with CIC to support the growth of the international community in Charlotte and participates actively on CIC's board.

Community Colleges for International Development CCID is a member organization of US and foreign community colleges focusing on international economic development and workforce training. Check out the many opportunities in the Troika Study Abroad Programs. CPCC participates in the China program and CCID holds excellent conferences.
