Explore internet links to practice listening and understanding spoken French. http://www1.cpcc.edu/langlab Click on French and find sites for French radio etc.

#104 Montreal (Canada TV production) 25 min.
Check out French movies available in the Lab. The more French you listen to the better! Borrow for 3 nights.
Internet Activities:
Google Montreal and read up on what you will find there! Make a list of "must do's!"
a) Go to map of Montreal and find UQAM, our school.
b) Find out how to get from our Residence (Dorm) to Vieux Montreal. Try Mapquest.com
c) Go to a restaurant Link and find a few you might like to try. Check prices and proximity to UQAM.
d) What special events, festivals will be taking place during our stay?
e) Can you rent a bike? Where? Are there bike trails and fun places to explore by bike?
f.) How about museums and cinemas? What else can you find to do!
g.) We will have an excursion to Quebec City. Why do we want to do that?
