Study Abroad in Ireland, Wales, and England
Tentative Travel Dates: March 8 - 16, 2018 Bring English literature to life - not just through readings and analysis, but by putting yourself in the shoes of your favorite authors. This course, conducted online and abroad, enables students to explore prominent Irish, Welsh, and English authors and their literary works. The United Kingdom is one of the world's most popular destinations, enjoyed by millions of visitors each year, including thousands of international students. This excursion will explore the diversity and literary history of Shannon, Killarney, Dublin, Wales, Statford-upon-Avon, Oxford, and London. Participants will enjoy immersing themselves in bustling cities rich in history and culture, beautiful countrysides, cathedrals, and castles.
How to Apply1. Complete CPCC's Study Abroad Application and submit it to the Global Learning Office (Overcash 303). 2. Fill out the Cashier Payment Form and pay your $100 non-refundable CPCC application fee and your $20 insurance fee. 3. CourseENG 241-99. Students must register for this course in spring term The course prerequisite is a grade of "C" or higher in ENG 112, ENG 113, or ENG 114 or the equivalent. Students auditing ENG 241-99 also participate in the Literature Study Abroad Program; a course prerequisite is not required when auditing. CCE Course - Students who do not need the curriculum credit of the courses above can take a CCE course for this program.
