Any1Can^SM Project

This year’s Sensoria Festival includes an innovative art installation for social good. The Any1Can^SM Project presented by non-profit Mothering Across Continents features a large-scale display of T-shirts highlighting seven global issues, hand-painted by students from 16 schools in the Charlotte metro area. With the Any1Can Project installation as backdrop, collaborative partners including the Discovery Place Science Museum, CPCC Global Learning and the Carolina Raptor Center are hosting interactive events and forums to help explore the local impact of the issues. This festival seeks to foster a larger understanding of cultures and a deeper appreciation of the many ethnic groups, cultures and perspectives of our world thereby promoting mutual respect and unity among the various people in our area.  This event will encompass the similarities and differences of cultures through folklore, arts & crafts, food, displays and a fashionable parade of native dresses.  Please come out and join us for a day of learning, sharing and fun.
