Below are links to some community agencies that may be helpful to CPCC students. These agencies are listed on Mecklenburg County’s “Just 1 Call” website http://www.just1call.org where you can search for services to find additional resources.
United Way 211 also provides information about United Way Community agencies. Dial 211 or call 888-892-1162 for a toll free call any time - 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Callers can talk with a professional to learn about agencies that address health and human service needs.
A list of United Way of Central Carolinas partner agencies is available at http://www.uwcentralcarolinas.org/how-we-help/get-help by clicking on “Get Help” to get list of local agencies. A North Carolina database is available at www.nc211.org where agencies are listed by county.
