Featuring 27 awards across the following categories:
Focus excellence in a STEM field (1 per category – up to 10 total):
Information Technology (IT)
Regional excellence in STEM (1 per county – up to 13 total)
People’s Choice Award (1 total)
(One per category, up to 3 total):
Best STEM Integration
Best Community Connection
6-12th grade students or teachers in any of the following counties:
North Carolina: Mecklenburg, Gaston, Lincoln, Rowan, Iredell, Stanly, Union, Anson, Catawba, Cabarrus, Cleveland
South Carolina: York, Lancaster
Judging Criteria will include:
Need / Rationale
Data Collection / Project Analysis (What is your impact? What worked? What didn’t?)
Communication (entry documentation--including forms/reports/multimedia)
Submission Period: March 10-24, 2014
NOTE: All submissions will be judged according to a published rubric. Submissions that meet a minimum score for excellence will advance to nomination status. A category with no nominations shall not be awarded that year.
People’s Choice Voting Period: April 1-15, 2014
Awards Ceremony: May 21, 2014 (to be broadcast May 22, 2014)

You will not be able to save an entry to return to edit--you must complete the full entry at one time, so while it is not required to watch the video, it is advisable to watch the full video prior to beginning your entry.
