Signups for the fall season are underway!  The process has changed a bit as you'll be asked to provide your CPCC login when attempting to access the signup sheet.  Note that our training sessions have been moved to Wednesdays, albeit same time (8-10PM) and place (Independence Park).  Returning players are expected to attend our organizational meeting Monday, August 17, as we'll not be taking field time to complete signups.

Opportunity to Host German Exchange Student
CPCC invites you to host a German exchange student, Tino Gerdelbracht,  for the 2009-2010 school year.   Tino will arrive in August in time for the fall semester.  He is a participant in the Congress Bundestag Youth Exchange Program with which CPCC has successfully been involved for many years.  He will attend college classes for the fall semester and then intern in his field during the spring.  An excerpt of his profile is posted below.

Profile: Tino has lived on his own since 2007 in a shared apartment, but is very close to his family (mother and two older siblings). Athletic and enjoys playing soccer. Also plays the trumpet in two brass ensembles. Independent, friendly and social. Is eager to get to know his host family and to become integrated in daily life. Fair spoken English skills currently and dedicated to improving. Smokes sometimes, but is willing to smoke outdoors only/follow hosts' rules. No allergies. Has a pet cat and enjoys animals.
