A professional writer and storyteller for over thirty years, Robin A. Edgar conducts reminiscence-writing workshops based on her book, In My Mother’s Kitchen: An Introduction to the Healing Power of Reminiscence. She teaches in a variety of venues including schools and universities and arts centers such as the prestigious John C. Campbell Folk School. She often serves as a national keynote speaker and workshop facilitator for organizations such as Hospice and the Alzheimer’s Association.

As an Arts and Science Council Artist-in-the-Workplace, Robin worked with Carolinas Medical Center to publish their 20th anniversary book, Celebrating 20 Years and Growing. The recipient of the 2006 ASC Regional Artist Project Grant, she was the project coordinator for the Personal Legacies: project which included the CPCC book, Personal Legacies: Surviving Great Depression: Charlotte/Mecklenburg 1929-1939, an exhibition at Smithsonian affiliate, The Charlotte Museum of History, and a documentary with PBS affiliate, WTVI.
 
In a similar project with WaterWorks Visual Arts Center in Salisbury, North Carolina, she collaborated with Rowan-Salisbury middle and high school students to produce the book, Object Stories.  This compilation of stories and photographs about personal heroes served as a catalog for an exhibition with the same title. She is currently working on a publication celebrating the 30th anniversary of Hospice & Palliative Care Charlotte region.

The mother of three grown children, Robin lives in Charlotte, North Carolina with her husband, David.

Jennifer Crickenberger is a professional fine art and freelance photographer based in Charlotte, North Carolina. She obtained her bachelor of fine art in studio arts from UNC Charlotte where she created large bodies of photographic work and interactive installation pieces that comment on the concepts of memory and mass media.

Her work has been exhibited in several Charlotte area shows including “Scale,” “Emancipated Logic,” “Fusion,” and “Sanskrit.” She is an outreach photography instructor for The Light Factory: Museum of Contemporary Photography, where her classes motivate young people to question sociopolitical issues and express their opinions through conceptual photography.

Jessi Godoy graduated with a bachelor of arts in Studio Art and a master of science in Interior Design from Florida State University. She previously collaborated with Ms. Edgar to illustrate In My Mother’s Kitchen: An Introduction to the Healing Power of Reminiscence.

Mrs. Godoy has worked professionally in commercial and residential interior design for a number of years. She currently is a free-lance artist and designer in southern Arizona.
