Gerry Soud’s professional background is best described as eclectic – a voice shaped more by kismet than career planning. A native of Florida, Gerry lived in Davidson, North Carolina for six years before heading to Georgia where he is the Director of Marketing for the Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School in Rabun Gap, GA.

Early in his career Gerry taught high school English before moving into public relations at two colleges and later as corporate communications director for several high-profile companies, most recently Paramount Theme Parks. Soud holds a Master’s Degree from George Washington University. Gerry is frequently heard on NPR-affiliates throughout the Southeast.
