2018 National Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week: November 12-16

Each year during the week before Thanksgiving, hundreds of organizations across the country engage in National Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week. This is a week of dialogue and educational programming that encourage us all to think about what we are thankful for, to share our compassion with our neighbors who are experiencing homelessness, and to work toward a world where no one has to experience Hunger and Homelessness.

For the 4th year in a row, the Service Learning Center at Central Piedmont Community College is hosting National Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week programming to bring our campus communities together in service projects and in conversation around Hunger & Homelessness and how each of us can serve as a catalyst for making our local communities free of Hunger & Homelessness.
