Talked about pilot for Pinapta
·         Pilot consists of 50 seats.
.       This pilot is only for faculy.
·         Considered a limited production
·         This program records screen, camera, and PowerPoint
iPad discussion
·         1 was leased to each division
·         A lot of the apps are still in development
·         Still in learning classroom
Smart Classroom
·         Smart classroom are being remodeled
·         Surveys are going out, by the end of this week to ask what instructors want
·         December 15th is deadline for orders
·         Meeting occurred earlier in the week
·         ideas are like cameras, monitor positions, laptop connections
·         cameras that follows the instructors
Wordpress blog
·         a new blogging tool will be rolled out
·         admin concerns with the blog
·         blog is for everyone that is faculty/staff
·         intended to be a blog being hosted on school servers
·         issues going forward:
o   training
o   guidelines for posting
o   Intellectual property rights

·         user friendly and robust
·         allows more options than author point

·         online meeting program that allows for a class to happen from home where students are able to interact with the instructors live
·         screen capture abilities

Classroom Computers and COD's
·         Some classrooms where technology based classes are being taught do not meet the rigors of that class where another non tech class has the newest computers
·         This issue comes from COD's where the common explanation is "Enter it first"
·         suggestion was made to have a tab on the COD's that asks what type of computers do you need
·         Program Chairs can specify rooms
·         Most do not specify and during reservation process a smart classroom is chosen at random
·         Eric Jenson from Central Campus is identifying classrooms and what they have to help with this process
·         Alberto asked to follow up with Eric regarding this
e-Locker
·         use elocker or use a thumbstick?
·         Microsoft skydrive is giving 10 gigs
·         different sites offers similar services
·         Motion to revisit e-Locker
·         e-Locker can go up to 1 gig.
·         Alberto has been asked to create a project.

·         A conference with no agenda
·         Allows for people to pitch ideas and vote on what they want to have covered.
