Algebra/Trigonometry I
Description:
This course provides an integrated approach to technology and the skills required to manipulate, display, and interpret mathematical functions and formulas used in problem solving. Topics include simplification, evaluation, and solving of algebraic, radical, exponential, and logarithmic functions; descriptive statistics; right angle trigonometry; and the use of technology. Upon completion, students should be able to solve problems and analyze and communicate results.
This course is intended for AAS degree programs.
Note: Students cannot receive graduation nor transfer credit for both MAT 121 and MAT 140 or MAT 161 or MAT 171 or MAT 175.
