State Mandated Training

CPCC offers state of North Carolina Mandated In-Service Training for Criminal Justice professionals.  Courses are offered on-line.  Beginning in January of 2010, the course delivery system will be changing.  Students will now be taking on line course using CPCC’s Blackboard course delivery system.

This change will impact users and there are several changes that users need to be aware of before taking a course.  It is very important that you read the instructions and following them carefully to successfully complete the courses.

  • Students must register at least three business days prior to the beginning of the class
  • To register for a class, you must submit a registration form. Click here to download a form. The registration forms must be faxed to 704.330.4130 or e-mailed to Major Patricia Brown, patricia.brown@cpcc.edu or to Mary Ferracci, mary.ferracci@cpcc.edu.
  • Students must have a CPCC login.  Click here to learn how to obtain your login.
  • Students must log into the on line class on the first day, even if the course is available for more than one day.
  • Students will be required to complete a Student Survey to complete the class.

Available course are listed below.  Several of the 2010 courses cannot be offered on-line due to classroom requirements. We will be offering these courses as traditional in-class courses and are listed with times under course type.  They are offered at CPCC’s North campus.

To take the on line courses, you will need your CPCC student login.  If you do not already have a log in name and password, you can obtain one on line with your CPCC student number.  If you are a previous CPCC student and do not know your student ID number, call or e-mail Major Patricia Brown, 704-330-4114 or Mary Ferracci, 704-330-4117.
