Guard Tour Specialist

Seeking criminal justice graduates and security industry or law enforcement professionals to join our Guard Tour team. Guard Tour Specialists work in our state-of-the-art monitoring center, the "I", and proactively promote security awareness at nationwide client locations through the use of audio and video monitoring. Guard Tour Specialists monitor live surveillance video and make direct voiceover announcements to store employees and their customers. These actions thwart suspicious behaviors, deter crime, and ensure safety and protection at client sites.

Qualifications Requirements

• This position requires a High school diploma or GED, and 1 - 3 years experience in security, alarm monitoring, dispatching, criminal justice, loss prevention, or a closely related field.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact and communicate professionally with co-workers, customers, and clients.
• Ability to read scripts and clearly project voice through microphone and phone.
• Capable of excelling in a highly structured and deadline driven environment.
• Team player with the willingness to learn and continue to grow within the security and protection industry.
• Basic practical understanding of computer functions; typing 40wpm required.
• Ability to pass hearing and eye examinations and drug and alcohol testing.
• Must possess and maintain a clear and free of incident criminal history.
