BLET Course Work Credit

Students successfully completing a Basic Law Enforcement Training course accredited by the North Carolina Criminal Justice Education and Training Standards Commission and adopted by the North Carolina Sheriff’s Education and Training Standards Commission may be eligible to receive credit for up to 23 hours toward the Associate in Applied Science degree in Criminal Justice Technology, depending up their their BLET program..

Students who are currently enrolled in the Associate in Applied Science degree in Criminal Justice Technology at CPCC can submit a copy of their BLET Certificate may receive credit for the following classes:

  • CJC 120 Interview & Interrogations
  • CJC 121 Law Enforcement Operations
  • CJC 131 Criminal Law
  • CJC 132 Court Procedure & Evidence
  • CJC 221 Investigative Principles
  • CJC 231 Constitutional Law
  • CJC 232 Civil Liability
