CPCC and PTK scholarships

Phi Theta Kappa has scholarships for members while you're at CPCC and if you're transferring. There are more than $36 million dollars in awards for PTK students going on to work for a 4-year degree. For a list of PTK scholarships, please click here. Queens College, Wingate University, High Point University and Appalachian State University are some of many local four-year institutions that offer scholarship exclusively for Society members.

You also have these opportunities:

  • Opportunity to apply for Guistwhite Scholarship totaling $60,000, to be used for baccalaureate studies.
  • Opportunities to be nominated for the All-USA Academic Team. Nationally sixty winners will receive national media recognition. Stipends totaling $50,000 will be awarded.
  • Opportunities to receive room and board tuition scholarship totaling $60,000 to attend Phi Theta Kappa Honors Institute, called the ultimate honors program experience. The institute, which focuses on a different interdisciplinary topic annually, brings in internationally recognized speaker to debate the issues.
  • Opportunities to receive National Dean's list scholarships totaling $7,500, awarded only to Society members, and the opportunities to be considered for an additional $25,000 in scholarships.
