To join CPCC’s Phi Lambda Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, complete the application form and pay the one-time membership fee of $100 to any CPCC cashier’s office. Make checks payable to CPCC and use account number 05-770-00-494006-41428.
To download the application form, click here. Please return the form and two copies of your receipt to the Student Life office, Overcash 241 at Central Campus. The deadline to turn in applications to be a part of the Spring 2012 Induction Ceremony is Friday, April 13.
Students being inducted may send formal invitations to up to two different addresses. To download the invitation form, click here. (Students being inducted may have as many friends and family as they wish in attendance.) The Induction Ceremony is Monday April 23, 2012 at 7pm in Halton Theater at Central Campus.
The Phi Lambda chapter is also offering a Fee Waiver to a select number of students this semester. Fee Waivers are awarded in a competitive selection process, so application for the Fee Waiver is not a guarantee that it will be awarded. Students wishing to apply for the fee waiver must write an essay and perform at least 10 hours of community service. Students chosen for the Fee Waiver will be inducted into PTK without having to pay the $100 fee. If you are not chosen to receive the Fee Waiver, you may still pay the $100 to join by April 13.
