PD Library
The Professional Development Library, housed at the Central Campus, provides current books, videos, and CD/DVDs on customer service, leadership development, ethics, socio-economic issues, faculty development, and many more topics. Faculty and staff can earn professional development credit when they have finished the material and have completed a short assessment.
1. If you are interested in viewing the materials in our Lending Library go to LearnerWeb and under My Menu click on “Library.” At the top of that page in the drop down box where it shows “All Catalogs,” click on the arrow and select “Books and Tapes,” then click on the Go button. If you find something that appeals to you simply click on “Check Out.”
a. If the lending material is available, then we will send it to you via campus mail along with the short assessment. Your status will be listed as “In Progress” until the materials have been returned and we have reviewed the assessment. We will then change your status from “In Progress” to “Finished” and PD credit will be applied to your history.
b. If the lending material you have requested is unavailable to be checked out we will notify you that you have been placed on a waiting list.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact the Office of Professional Development at CPCCProfDev@cpcc.edu
