Engage in this online learning opportunity and upon completion be able to: Identify tools to be a successful mentor, Describe the mentoring process at CPCC, and finally, Investigate mentoring opportunities at CPCC.
May 2017 EMPLOYEE ONLINE LEARNING COURSE OF THE MONTH:
This interactive and hands on approach to learning will explore several fantastic tools found in Office Mix, a PowerPoint add-in tool that allows you to create interactive presentations that are a great teaching tool for traditional, blended, and online classes. Let’s do away with the boring bulleted text in PowerPoint and get students interested and engaged! Office Mix gives the creator the tools to embed online videos and web sites; create slide recordings with audio, video, and digital ink; create a variety of screencasts; and embed quizzes throughout the presentation. Upon completion of this course, you will: Explain the importance of learner engagement; Describe instructional strategies that increase learner engagement; and Develop course components utilizing tools in OfficeMix that engage the learner.
To search the Employee Online Learning catalog:
- Login to LearnerWeb using your CPCC credentials.
- On the Search for Courses tile click the Catalog dropdown menu, and select “Employee Online Learning”.
- Click Search.
