10% Paperwork

CPCC is committed to timely and accurate reporting of FTE information. This results in the main source of funding for the College. The record of class form (10% roster) is an official record of the College and is audited annually. The record of class form is primarily used to comply with the North Carolina Administrative Code by:
• verifying student entrance into class
• recording student absences
• verifying student membership hours
• achieving consistency in record keeping
10% Roster (Record of Class Roster)
Shortly after the term begins, all instructors will receive an official 3-part (white, yellow, and pink) Record of Class Roster (10% roster) from their division director's office. At that time all instructors must complete form and then return the signed and dated form as soon as possible back to the department office or department contact person.

From Financial Aid Office - Non-Attendance Report
1. If a student misses two (2) consecutive weeks of class, instructors must complete a Non-Attendance Report.
2. To prevent College and student liability to the U.S. Dept. of Education and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, accurate attendance, non-attendance, and ceased attendance for all students must be reported to Financial Aid/Veterans Affairs in a timely manner. These students are identified on your class roster.
Email Sara Dreiman with any changes to a student’s attendance after the 10% point and throughout the semester.
If you have any questions, please contact the Financial Aid and Veterans Affairs Office at 6942.
