High School Information

Central Piedmont Community College provides a number of opportunities and resources for high school students to further their education in and beyond high school.

  • Career and College Promise offers qualifying high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to earn college credits for free while still attending high school.
  • College Connection provides an early registration opportunity and guided enrollment program for CMS seniors.  Participants will be registered for their fall semester of college before even graduating from high school!
  • Mid-year high school graduates can take advantage of our short-session classes so they do not need to wait to begin their college education.
  • The Summer Bridge Program gives recent high school graduates an opportunity to get a jump start on college life while earning credit in this 6-week free summer enrichment program.
  • The Presidential Scholars Program is both a scholarship and a unique cohort experience for first-time freshmen attending CPCC.
  • The Anthony Foxx Scholar Program offers up to a $2000 college scholarship to African American males who graduate from West Charlotte High School and enroll at Central Piedmont Community College.
