CPCC offers the following degrees:

    Office Administration (A25370)

    Office administration training will grant you the skills needed to help increase the efficiency and organization of a business. This degree program will provide you with a solid foundation in a variety of fields such as computer administration, oral and written communication and non-technical and technical skills. You will also learn how to use the computer software and equipment commonly found within today’s office setting, giving you the confidence to assist with employee training, appointment scheduling, document preparation and much more.

    Graduates should qualify for employment in a variety of positions in business, government and industry. Job classifications range from entry-level to supervisor to middle management. With appropriate work experience, graduates may apply for certification as a Certified Professional Secretary® (CPS®)/Certified Administrative Professional® (CAP®) through the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP).

    Degree Awarded – The Associate in Applied Science Degree – Office Administration is awarded by the College upon completion of this program.

    Office Administration Legal Track (A25370L)

    If you’re interested in an entry-level position in a legal or government-related office, then enroll in our two-year Office Administration Legal Track degree program. This curriculum prepares individuals for entry-level positions in legal or government-related offices and provides professional development for the currently employed. With an emphasis on accuracy, organizational skills, discretion and professionalism, our courses will teach you more about terminology, operational procedures, preparation and transcription of documents and computer software. Upon the completion of this degree program you’ll be a “legal eagle,” prepared to work in any corporate, private or governmental agency.

    Graduates should qualify for employment in corporate legal departments; private practices, including real estate and estate planning; and city, state and federal government offices. With appropriate work experience, graduates may apply for certification as a Professional Legal Secretary (PLS).

    Degree Awarded – The Associate in Applied Science Degree – Legal Office Administration is awarded by the College upon completion of this program.

    Medical Office Administration (A25310)

    This curriculum prepares individuals for employment in medical and other health-care related offices. Course work will include medical terminology; information systems; office management; medical coding; billing and insurance; legal and ethical issues; and formatting and word processing. Students will learn administrative and support functions and develop skills applicable in medical environments. Employment opportunities are available in medical and dental offices, hospitals, insurance companies, laboratories, medical supply companies, and other healthcare-related organizations.

    Degree Awarded – The Associate in Applied Science Degree – Medical Office Administration is awarded by the College upon completion of this program.
