Clinical Observation Opportunity

Choosing a career is not easy or a decision that someone should take likely.  Therefore, the faculty of the CVT Program encourage all prospective applicants to utilize all resources available to them such as this website, professional organizations (select tab at left), current employees in the field, the CVT program faculty, or any other resource that offers an opportunity to learn more about the field. 

Another opportunity is through a "shadow program" where you can go into both a cardiac catheterization lab and an echocardiography lab for several hours and observe the type of work being performed.  You will be able to talk to cardiovascular technologists about the field to assist with obtaining a clear understanding of the profession prior to admission into the program.
