Clinical Observation Opportunity

Choosing a career is not easy or a decision that someone should take likely.  Therefore, the faculty of the CVT Program encourage all prospective applicants to utilize all resources avaiable to them such as this website, professional organizations (select tab at left), current employees in the field, CVT program faculty, or any other resource that offers an opportunity to learn more about the field.

The faculty highly encourage prospective students to take advantage of a locally offered opportunity to go into both a cardiac catheterization lab and an echocardiography lab at CMC - Main in Charlotte to observe echocardiography and cardiac catheterization procedures and talk to staff in order to assist with obtaining a clear understanding of the profession prior to admission into the program.
