Welcome to Cardiovascular Technology!

 

Thank you for your interest in the Cardiovascular Technology Program!

There is an upcoming information/orientation session for anyone interested in learning more about the application process or the field of Cardiovascular Technology.  It's currently scheduled for:

  • When: Thursday, August 6th at 5:30 PM
  • Where: Central Campus in the Overcash Building, room 216.

The Cardiovascular Technology Program has been awarded national accredition status through the Council on Accreditation of Allied Health Educational Programs (CAAHEP) in both Invasive and Noninvasive cardiology concentrations. 

The Board of Director's of CAAHEP as well as the Joint Review Committee on Cardiovascular Technolgy (JRC-CVT) recognized the programs "substantial compliance" with the nationally established accreditation Standards set by CAAHEP, the American College of Cardiology, the Society of Invasive Cardiovascular Professionals, the American College of Radiology, the American Society of Echocardiography and the Society of Vascular Ultrasound. 

This very high accomplishment demonstrates the committment to excellence by the faculty, the administration and the clinical sites and we hope to become actively involved in shaping your future!
