Thanks to the support of the Southern Spring Home and Garden Show, CPCC architectural and Interior Design students and faculty members will attend the organization’s upcoming event for free.

The Southern Spring Home and Garden Show gave the program complimentary tickets to this year’s five-day event which is a signature event for Charlotte and the Carolinas. In additional to stages for presentations by feature guests on home ideas, cooking, and gardening, it features designer showcases and more than two-dozen fully landscaped gardens that introduce the latest trends in indoor and outdoor living.

Among the featured speakers will be CPCC Interior Design instructor Loyd Dillon, who will discuss:

  • “COLOR! Manipulating Behavior Through Color Schemes” at 11:45 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 29 and at 2:45 p.m. on Sunday, March 4.
  • "ACCESSORIZING: Hang Accessories for Your Home, Perfectly the First Time” at 2:45 p.m. on Saturday, March 3.

During the event CPCC students will have the opportunity to shop, meet with experts, and gather information and advices from exhibitors and vendors for landscaping, building, remodeling and interior decorating.
