CPCC to host EdCamp on May 15

What: Attention Charlotte! Join us for EdCamp – The Charlotte area’s first and only education unconference event.

Our upcoming “EdCamp” will feature open, participatory workshop events, with user-generated content provided by participants.

During the event, education professionals and attendees make a quick pitch to speak about a topic or make a presentation at a session during EdCamp. Attendees then vote on what they would like to see, creating the schedule of events for the day. Anyone can pitch a session – including you! It’s a fun, innovative and free way for the community to gather, exchange ideas and share experiences.

Who should attend: While the event is ideal for education leaders and professionals, the general public is invited to attend and exchange ideas that may promote student success.

When: May 15, 2012; 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Where: Belk Building on CPCC’s Central Campus
