Central Piedmont Community College’s Business and Accounting Division is pleased to announce it will host its 4th annual “Business and Accounting Week: Build Your Roadmap to Success!” event March 16 – 19 on the college’s Central Campus. Throughout the week, the general public, as well as CPCC students, faculty and staff, will have the opportunity to attend a variety of FREE presentations and seminars offered by industry trendsetters and leaders.

Business and Accounting Week was created to connect CPCC students to the resources needed for them to achieve personal and professional success. Throughout the week, students will have the opportunity to meet with local business leaders, learn how to prepare to enter the workforce and advance professionally while gaining a better understanding of today’s global issues that impact communities across the world.

"We are looking forward to hosting another great week of learning for all,” said Loretta Evivie, division director for CPCC’s Business and Accounting Division. “We are also extremely grateful to our guest speakers who have made this event possible by giving their time to share with our students.”

CPCC has assembled a number of notable presenters to host these discussion topics, including a Pop Up Store that will be presented by Ten Thousand Villages on March 19 from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. in the Overcash Lobby. During this event, attendees will have the opportunity to purchase fair trade items from around the world.

Other featured presenters include: Dr. Tony Zeiss, president of CPCC; Tanya Blackmon, president of Novant Health Huntersville Medical Center; and William Partin Jr., president and CEO of Sharonview Credit Union.
