Central Piedmont Community College’s Business and Accounting Division is pleased to announce it will host its 2nd annual “Business and Accounting Week: Succeeding in the Global Economy” event March 25 – 28 on the College’s Central Campus. Throughout the week, the general public, as well as CPCC students, faculty and staff, will have the opportunity to attend a variety of FREE presentations – given by many of today’s industry trendsetters and leaders - on topics such as marketing, accounting, human resources management, business administration, international business and others.

Business and Accounting Week was created to connect CPCC students to the resources needed for them to achieve personal and professional success. Throughout the week, students will have the opportunity to mingle with local business leaders, while learning how to prepare to enter the workforce and gain a better understanding of today’s global issues that impact communities across the world. Presentation topics will include: how to become a successful entrepreneur, how to effectively brand yourself, how to utilize social media to communicate effectively and more.

"We are excited to host our 2nd annual Business and Accounting Week,” said Loretta Evivie, division director for CPCC’s Business and Accounting Division. “The primary essence of this annual event is to provide our students with an opportunity to learn from and interact with industry experts. In addition to focusing on key factors necessary for personal and professional growth, we seek to foster a sense of community with our students, alumni, faculty, staff and the greater Charlotte community".

CPCC has assembled a number of notable presenters to host these discussion topics, including:
