CPCC Small Business Center, Stories to Inspire will host ‘She Flew the Coop Live!’

WHAT: Central Piedmont Community College’s (CPCC) Small Business Center, together with Stories to Inspire, will host “She Flew the Coop Live! Entrepreneurship Edition” May 11, on CPCC’s Central Campus. Aspiring female entrepreneurs are invited to attend this free event to hear best practices on how to “fly the coop” and start their own company.

Sponsored by JP MorganChase & Co., the evening event will include compelling stories from those who took the leap into entrepreneurship, giving attendees the opportunity to hear first-hand from successful, female business owners, such as:

  • Jacinda Jacobs (emcee), motivational speaker, author and arena host for the Charlotte Hornets;
  • Sarah Batista, award winning TV journalist, entrepreneur and speaker;
  • Esosa Ighodaro, co-founder and president, CoSign;
  • Jenny Ingram Fulton, chief pickle officer, Miss Jenny’s Pickles;
  • Lynn Ivey, CEO and founder, The Ivey; and
  • Shawna Robinson, former NASCAR driver, owner of Happy Chair.

Aspiring female entrepreneurs and existing women business owners alike are invited to attend this inspirational event to draw the motivation they need to “fly the coop” and launch or grow their own venture!
