Novant to offer free health screenings at CPCC

last modified Feb 24, 2014 08:36 AM

CPCC and Novant Health care about the well-being of our community. To help you take control of your health, CPCC, in conjunction with Novant Health, is offering FREE health screenings for diabetes, blood pressure and BMI (follow-up consultations are included). A 15-minute appointment to screen for these 3 major risk factors might save your life.

Getting healthy takes a shift in thinking to both get and keep you on the path to true health. Instead of going to the doctor or hospital when a problem has occurred, you must practice being proactive with your well-being.

You can start by first knowing your numbers, understanding your risk factors and creating a plan to lower those risks. Knowing this vital information can help you hit the reset button on your health and reverse the course.

Reserve a screening time today. Call toll-free at 855.339.8096. Walk-ins welcome if time is available.

These screenings are open to the public.

Follow-up assistance is available for individuals who are uninsured and underinsured.
