CPCC Culinary Arts program opens its kitchen doors for Feb. 15 event

WHAT: Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC) Culinary Arts program is opening the doors to its Philip L. Van Every Culinary Arts Center and inviting the public to get a sneak peek inside the facility’s kitchens when it hosts its upcoming “Graze with Student Chefs” event.

The event will take place in CPCC’s Greenway Restaurant, the College’s new on-campus restaurant, and feature an assortment of hearty appetizers prepared by the College’s very own culinary arts students.

The College invites the general public to attend the event and support its culinary arts students. Lunch is only $8 (payable by credit card or debit card only), and beverages and free parking are included for patrons’ convenience.

* In addition to serving as the backdrop for the College’s many culinary events, Greenway will operate as an on-campus restaurant as well, serving a three-course, contemporary bistro lunch prepared by CPCC Culinary Arts students. The venue will be open to the public and feature a rotating menu comprised of upscale fare. Lunch will be served at Greenway on a limited basis beginning February 6 – 9 and February 13 -14 from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. to accommodate students’ academic schedules.
