Lisa Franklin, a graduate of CPCC’s Culinary Arts program, will be featured on The Food Network’s “Guy’s Grocery Games” program on Sunday, Feb. 22 at 8 p.m.

When Lisa enrolled in the college’s culinary arts program, she arrived with a clear vision and solid business plan for one day opening a personal chef business.

Today, Lisa is the owner and chef of Heart & Soul, a personal chef service that offers in-home personal chef, meal delivery services, private dinner parties and more to residents located throughout the region.

Since graduating from CPCC with an associate degree in Culinary Arts and a Certificate in Business Administration, she has become certified as a ServSafe Food Handler, a member of the American Personal & Private Chef Association and expanded her business to include four additional chefs.

She has also remained proud of her CPCC roots, employing, mentoring and overseeing co-operative educational classes for several CPCC culinary students.
