WHAT: Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC) will host the annual COME TECH OUT Charlotte Job Fair on February 28 at its Levine Campus.

The FREE event connects job seekers to more than 30 employers who currently have job openings in the tech industry. To date, industry leaders such as ACN, ACF Technologies, B/E Aerospace, Business Control Systems, Colfax Fluid Handling, Deloitte, Esri, Family Dollar, Intellectual Capital, LendingTree, Logical Advantage, LPL Financial, Mindseeker, Northeastern University – Charlotte, Sherpa, TPM Consulting, Wells Fargo and Yodle have registered to participate in the event being sponsored by North Carolina Technology Association (NCTA), Business Innovation & Growth, the Charlotte Chamber, Charlotte Works, CPCC’s Computer Technology Institute and IT-oLogy.

In addition, CPCC’s Computer Technology Institute will host a job seekers workshop, titled “Roadmap to IT Careers,” that will focus on hot jobs in IT and what job seekers can do to obtain the skills desired by today’s employers.

At last year’s event in Raleigh, N.C., more than 300 workers – like you – met with a sellout group of employers who had more than 1,000 job openings available. In some instances, job offers were extended then and there.

That’s why we encourage you to mark your calendar today so you too can take the steps needed to discover your path to personal and professional success in 2014!
