2013 Career Fair connects working professionals to businesses

WHAT: Central Piedmont Community College’s (CPCC) 2013 Career Fair is quickly approaching. Now in its 25th year, the event gives local working professionals the opportunity to connect with business leaders representing a variety of industries, including automotive, manufacturing and real estate. To date, more than 40 businesses have registered to participate in the event being sponsored by Schaeffler Group USA, Structural Integrity Associates, Level One, UniFirst Corporation and Job Finder Publications. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from such organizations as Snyder’s Lance, Coca Cola, Verizon, John Q Hammons Hotels and more.

During last year’s event, more than 1,600 candidates – comprised of both Charlotte residents and CPCC students/graduates – met with potential employers, to discuss how their qualifications could move their company forward.
