Hornets Internship Program Overview:

The Center for Military Families and Veterans, in partnership with Workplace Learning and the CPCC Foundation, is now accepting applications for the Charlotte Hornets Internship program .  Veterans in eligible programs will have the opportunity to pursue paid internships with companies throughout Charlotte while working toward a degree. The goal of the internship is to provide veterans with an opportunity to gain invaluable, real-world experience in a civilian field, while also earning an hourly wage to help support themselves and their families.

Program Benefits:

  • An effective and efficient transition from military training to civilian employment
  • Earn an income while pursuing a degree

Applicant Requirements:

  • Must be a military veteran or currently serving in the armed forces (Active Duty, National Guard or Reserve)
  • Must be a current CPCC student with a minimum of 24 credit hours and a 3.0 GPA
  • Must be in a program with a work-based learning (WBL) or cooperative learning (Co-op) requirement or technical elective
