Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What happens if I do poorly in a course?

A: The Medical Assisting program has strict guidelines regarding the satisfactory completion of all courses. You are required to achieve a minimum grade of "C" in all courses. Students who earn below a "C" are counseled by medical assisting faculty and given the opportunity to repeat the course one time. If a "C" grade is not achieved in the second attempt at taking the course, the student is dismissed from the Medical Assisting program.
