Online and Hybrid Math Courses

The Math Division offers several courses through non-traditional formats, online and hybrid. Both online and hybrid math courses are designed to better serve those students who require greater flexibility with their schedule. In these non-traditional formats, students are able to take part in a math course anywhere and at anytime provided they have access to the Internet.
Online courses are delivered entirely online, though some onsite testing may be required. Hybrid courses offer some of the same flexibility as online courses along with an onsite instruction portion. The onsite component of a hybrid course offers the opportunity to interact with an instructor and classmates on a regular basis in a classroom setting. (Note: Online math courses will have the designation "Online" for location in the class schedule; Hybrid math courses will have a particular campus designation for location in the class schedule as well as a note concerning hours required online.)
The online and hybrid formats are best suited for those students who feel comfortable with mathematics and independent learning. Students will be expected to participate in a variety of activities and adhere to regular deadlines.
