Pre-Semester Fast Track

Pre-Semester Fast Track MAT Courses (CCE)
Pre-Semester Fast Track (CCE) courses are offered through Continuing Education at CPCC. These courses are a set of fast-paced, 15-hour, intensive review courses that cover pre-algebra, introductory algebra, or intermediate algebra in a standard instructor/students format. This course is for students who would like the opportunity to try to improve their math course placement or for individuals who need to brush-up on their math skills.
Pre-Semester Fast Track (CCE) is intended for students who:
- have taken a math course within the past two years
- have passed at least one year of high school algebra
- have taken the math placement test and placed into MAT 050 / ABL 6014, MAT 060, MAT 070, or MAT 080
- have successfully completed MAT 050 / ABL 6014, MAT 060, or MAT 070
- have done well in math and need a review of basic concepts
- would like a fast-paced, intensive review of basic pre-algebra and algebra skills
These courses are NOT intended for students who have struggled with math and may need more time to master their skills. Click on the links to view course outlines. Pre-Spring 2012 offerings are listed below.
MAT 7060 – Intensive Review of Mathematics
Intended for students who have placed into MAT 050 / ABL 6014 or MAT 060.
- January 2-6 (M-F from 9am to 12pm): Central Campus - section 01
MAT 7070 – Intensive Review of Introductory Algebra
Intended for students who have placed into MAT 070 or completed MAT 060.
- January 2-6 (M-F from 9am to 12pm): Central Campus - section 01
MAT 7080 – Intensive Review of Intermediate Algebra
Intended for students who have placed into MAT 080 or completed MAT 070.
- January 2-6 (M-F from 9am to 12pm): Central Campus - section 01
- January 2-6 (M-F from 9am to 12pm): Levine Campus - section 10
