What’s Happening in Planning and Research at CPCC

Planning and Research is the official source of all institutional data related
to student enrollment. The department handles a vast array of reports required by state and federal authorities along with information and data requests
from internal and external organizations. Planning and Research conducts
numerous surveys of student satisfaction in order to provide data for the
North Carolina Accountability Measures, program review and several benchmarking projects that CPCC has partnered with. We also provide data
and support for several ongoing grant projects. Our office provides major
support for Institutional Effectiveness, Strategic Planning and Enrollment Management. Planning and Research staff are represented on most college committees and advisory groups along with non-profit and community agencies within Mecklenburg county. The staff has also made numerous presentations
of their work to various national professional associations affiliated within
the research and business community.
